day 5

[The fifth day doesn't dawn at all. In fact, the sky simply isn't there anymore; the only thing visible if you look up is pure black nothing. Most of the carnival itself is no longer visible, having been blanketed by thick white fog; any attempt to enter said fog will result in your body rapidly disintegrating. The street at least still seems to be intact, but with no way out and the fog slowly creeping in, who knows how long that'll last?
Luckily, it seems like the cavalry has finally arrived.]
(OOC: This marks the last day of the event! Anyone who has won a prize from Mayfield's carnival will be able to access both Mayfield and this area through the funhouse, and will be able to take one person with them on each trip they make. If your character is not rescued by the end of the day, they will be disintegrated by the fog and will wake up the next morning in Mayfield with the standard revival effects. You are free to comment in this post regardless of whether your character signed up for the event.)
FUNHOUSE
Better still be on your guard though, because it doesn't seem like the place is empty.]

At least she wasn't sick.
So, weird clown doll in hand - a freaky beacon is ever there was one - and broom in the other, the witch stepped through the broken mirrors and ventured into the evil!funhouse.]
Flandre? Remilia?

He knew what lived inside the hall of mirrors. But it doesn't stop him from venturing in once again. ...Ten minutes of cautious exploration and a frantic dash home later, a boy mounted atop a galloping tea table smashes back through the other side of the rift and bursts back into the fog covered carnival.
The clip-clopping echoes eerily in the fog as Lucas accosts anyone he can find.]
Get on!
[There's no time to explain. He'll kidnap and drag people through if he has to, and that Strength stat of his is surprisingly high for a teenaged boy.
Hopefully, he doesn't get interrupted at any point during his impromptu shuttle service. He'd rather not fight those children again if he didn't need to.]

[But he doesn't have a prize with him, and wandering the funhouse, he can't see any visible exit leading out of the place.]
[His sidearm is drawn, and he's highly on edge. Spending a whole day in pitch black nothing, falling the entire time, and then witnessing the way the town is coming apart at the seams over the past few days will do that to you.]

Yoshika + Byakuren + OPEN
With limited mobility thanks to a days-old sprained ankle, twisted neck, and a missing left eye of her own, Yoshika is carrying Hijir in her arms like it's no big deal. Having no comprehension of the pain her body is experiencing, she shuffles toward the source of the commotion.
There is just one problem with her approach to the funhouse:
She has no idea how she's going to get them OUT of here, though she is clinging to the monk as if she was the most precious thing in the world to her. Which, here, is accurate only because Hijiri is precious to Kyouko and Yoshika promised her that she would stay with her!
If she catches your eye — or you even come too close — she'll shout at you? ]
Hello? Helloooo! Is this the way ouuut?!

[Not that Haruhi really wants to wonder inside this particular house, but if the whole world is ending, she needs to quickly gather up any information that's in this place that she didn't find out previously.
Which obviously means that she'll be sneaking inside!]

Still, as bad as he felt, he'd really had worse in his long history as a nation.
Frustrated by not being able to explore the funhouse like he'd wanted to before Ciel and Charles stopped him, and at a loss for what to do now, he'll head for the only place he hadn't visited yet - and is surprised to see he can open the door to the house without any trouble.
That doesn't mean his revolver isn't in his hand as he limps inside, though.]

HOUSE 501
Re: HOUSE 501
Perfect.
Kreutzer herself won't go inside; instead, she's sending in one of her last two dolls. And what will this doll be doing, exactly? Simple: detonate her destructive kamikaze bomb. If this was the last day before either escaping or being consumed by the fog, then Kreutzer wanted to go out with a bang. With this doll, Kreutzer is going to try blowing this house up to kingdom come.)

Thankfully, Haruhi isn't the type of person to sleep through things like this. Which pretty much means that anyone who's around her (if she knows them or not) will be woken up and dragged.
And by waking up, we mean yelled at.]

Re: CHURCH
ALL OVER WELCOMEFIELD
Which is why it is now combing the streets, the carnival, and all over looking for people, anyone who is too weak or sick to get to the fun house for a possible rescue. It skirts the fog and fissures appearing as best it can, but still goes near them to make sure no one is about to sucked up in them as well.
Every so often it will stop looking to announce a message at full blast to anyone nearby:]
ATTENTION! ATTENTION! THERE'S A WAY BACK TO MAYFIELD! If you can get to the Fun House, someone from Mayfield can bring you back! If you can't make it back to the fun house on your own, please let me know! I can take you there to help! Or if you know someone who needs to be taken and can't ask for help themselves, also let me know where they are, so I can bring them there!
[It will be doing this pretty much for as long as possible, constantly going back and forth from the fun house as long as the fog will let it, in the hopes of trying to get everyone out before the entire place is dissolved...]

[Balin finally catches sight of the source of the voice—some kind of spider-like Mech? It almost look like one of the Personal Armor Unit designs the AFS had been working on at Edmund Range ...]
