[Those who wake up in the town on the third day will soon notice that something's definitely off. The cracks in the sky are appearing more frequently and lasting for minutes at a time, and there's a strange white fog drifting over the clouds.

For those who've just arrived, welcome to our new little town! We're sure you're glad to see your missing friends again; nothing to worry about here, they've just been too busy enjoying the upgraded carnival to go back home. Any bleeding limbs or serious wounds you may spot are obviously just a sign of how much fun they've been having.]

OOC: If your character damages or affects the carnival or town in a noticeable and normally permanent way, please comment here.

[That same strange fog is beginning to envelop them even now. As the wheel carries them up high, there is a sudden sound- a ripping sound -and a rumble that sets the entire wheel trembling. Then it's done, and the wheel keeps moving through the fog. It's thick, now, like clean smoke, and nearly impossible to see through.

Hol and Natalie may feel an odd tingling sensation on their skin. Other than that, they feel fine...]

[A second set of eyes appears next to the first, unblinking.]

[you think he would've learned his lesson not to wander off by himself by now, but alas, common sense isn't on Once-ler's side. he's got the healthy sense of self-preservation down to a tee, but that's all.

for example, when he hears Rin's screaming as he walks out of the church to stretch his legs, his first instinct is to flinch as the memory of what happened in the house he and Rapunzel investigated yesterday comes flooding back. he never thought he'd be this frightened of loud noises; go figure.

it's when he actually hears what she has to say that a new sense of urgency sinks in. he's made it a point not to go anywhere without his axe, so he hefts it up over his shoulder as he goes running towards the source of the commotion.]

(Well, she certainly likes being prepared, doesn't she? Kreutzer had to admit that she was impressed; it would mean more weight for her to carry, but at least there would be use for it Unlike unconscious Chell; sorry

Closing up the bag, Kreutzer will put it on while continuing for the door. Might as well make this easier, if possible.)

[Cade is slightly annoyed. Jenny and Olivier keep telling him not to go off on his own, but that's what they went and did. First Olivier disappears, then Jenny, then Olivier again. Come on people!

He arrives at the cracked window of 501, and calls in, oblivious to any danger he may be calling to himself.]

"Jenny!? Are you in there? I thought we all agreed to stick together, damnit!"

[As the fog starts to engulf them, they may start to feel a strange tingling and buzzing sensation in their bodies, like licking a battery. There's no pain or any sign of injury though, and they seem to be mentally fine.]

Gakupo! ♪

[she's about to explain, and then Once-ler comes up. She sees the axe and immediately addresses him instead. Sorry Gakupo, she's in a bit of a panic.]

There's something wrong with the houses, we opened the wall and there was a dead body and Luke- Luke's fingers just dissolved, he needs help but the door locked behind me! ♪

[A pause.]

'Ave ya seen Ilsa?...

No. I've been stuck here for a few days. You look like you've been around for a bit, yourself.

[She makes her way through the mirrors slowly, a thoughtful look on her face. Was this the same path she took before, coming in? The same, but reversed?]

...no.... no. Completely different, no...

[She pauses to smudge one of the mirrors with that charred bit of wood, then continues on.]

[he watches her in silence for a moment, eying the areas she hits and staying on subtle guard in case her violence increases. for all intents and purposes though, he looks completely at ease sloped over the window as he is.]

If it makes you feel any better about your own comparative limitations, I'm not a vampire, and I'm certain you'll find yourself free to enter this place as well. There's nothing inside here indicative of a church, you know.

[Well, an axe would be ideal for this situation, but RUDE.]

Dead body?! Dissolved?! How the heck does that even happen?! No, wait, explain later. [He looks over to the other new person.] Do you think you can hack the door open?

[ Nitori falls to the floor with a thump. Immediately she feels lightheaded, but she can't tell whether it was from the fall or the house. All Nitori knows is that it's difficult to rise to her feet. Someone calls out to her, and once she's on her knees she turns to look. Immediately she looks confused. ]

Satou-san...? What are you doing here?

I was... The window was broken, so I jumped through.

Broken glass might come in handy. Maybe as a weapon or something...

[And Luke starts to follow the arrows he made back to the entrance, to lead Slugger out.]

A smaller version of it anyway. Sort of like a combination of Westport and Mayfield I suppose...

UM, I'M WITH HIM ON THAT. [because seriously, what. and he thought he and Rapunzel had it bad yesterday. this is much, MUCH worse, holy crap.]

- Of course I can! What do you think this made out of, rubber? [he looks over at Rin, swallowing hard but preparing to run regardless.] Let's just hurry up and go already!

[- before the kid loses his toes, too. ouch.]

[Her hands immediately snap forward, gripping the edge of the carriage as tight as she can. Rattling and shaking this high up was not a good thing. And tingling fog... she grimaces and narrows her eyes.

And then she looks to Hol. What's his reaction?]

[She doesn't turn back around. She doesn't look at him.]

Not since late yesterday.

[Olivier splutters as she opens her eyes and sees him there. Then her face goes even more pale, if that's possible, but after a moment, she sits up and her face turns red as she looks back at the window.]

Damn milk. I lost one of my pistols along with my flashlight in there.

[Rin turns the way she came from, and leads them to House 1 as fast as she can.]

It's this one! ♪

[she points, and hangs back so she's not in the way.]

[The sound startled him and he gripped at the bar in front of them. At the odd feeling upon his skin, he immediately looked down to his arm. The fog was only making things more difficult to see.

Well then...]

What... what was that?

[Luke by now drifting between unconsciousness and consciousness, but the commotion from outside causes him to glance up.

He tries to speak again, but nothing comes out. Everything hurts so much and he doesn't want to be alone in here.

Someone help...]

[He rolls along at Luke's side through the winding hallways, stepping over whatever obstacles might lie in their path. As they pass the hall of mirrors, Slugger will stop to salvage a few sizable shards of glass from some broken mirrors.]

[Cade channels the healing power of his spell into her. The spell, normally, heals injured flesh and purges toxins and poisons, though it tires the patient out a bit. But who knows if it'll work with whatever the hell this milk is doing?

Cade sees that the front door is open, picks Olivier up, and is going to try and get her out of here now if possible.]
