[Those who wake up in the town on the third day will soon notice that something's definitely off. The cracks in the sky are appearing more frequently and lasting for minutes at a time, and there's a strange white fog drifting over the clouds.

For those who've just arrived, welcome to our new little town! We're sure you're glad to see your missing friends again; nothing to worry about here, they've just been too busy enjoying the upgraded carnival to go back home. Any bleeding limbs or serious wounds you may spot are obviously just a sign of how much fun they've been having.]

"Freak with freaky powers" sums it up nicely, actually. I just encountered a lot of them. Weekly.

[Those crazy carnivals, man. They'll getcha.]

Mm, I know the feeling. This place doesn't offer much opportunity for fun. At least I could go to the tavern at the end of the day, when I was in Kirkwall, let my friends buy me a drink. It's not really the same here.

[He stopped at her small laugh and looked over to the ride as it started up. His attention was torn away when he felt something heavy flop across his legs. Oh, so she decided to go along.]

[There are scratch marks all over the walls.]

[OH DEAR A WILD CHARLES APPEARS. surely he isn't dumb enough to be stuffing his face with greasy carnival food in a place like this! ...seriously, that's abel's job.

he does seem pretty intent on approaching the cart though, but stops as soon as he notices Ciel's presence (which, given the intimidating aura, isn't exactly hard to do). something's definitely going on here, it's rare to see that kind of posturing from her!]

[Slowly, he tries to ease himself into the house without making a noise, Unforunately, that involves cutting himself on the jagged glass.

He hisses in pain. But as soon as his feet touch the floor, he crouches down and inches towards the woman.]

In bright red blood, on the window, is slowly written:

I saw some broken glass in the hall of mirrors... [That could be useful, maybe. He notes Luke's statement about the houses being different but he supposes he'll see more of that soon enough. He turns to follow Luke on their way back out.]

So, is this supposed to be another Mayfield?

[The bathroom is clean and free of blood...but something is written in the fog of the mirror.]

[Poland's already managed to light a match by the time Lithuania asks and steps inside. He holds the match up against the wall to set it on fire.]

So I'm starting to gather. Still, I wasn't expecting to find anyone cooking.

[As long as the knife's not being brandished at him, he's cool. Putting it away if there was something crazy going on probably wouldn't be a good idea, anyway.]

I've only been here a few hours...after spending a few hours wandering around the fun house.

[Confused, she steps inside once again - and, noticing, the mirror, approaches it to get a better look.]

Lucille? [who or what was that? but whatever it was, Dainn knew his most pressing concern was to get out of that house.

he'll try and make his way upstairs to see if the windows there would break.]

[There was actually another person poking around another part of the house, and he's drawn to the sound of a voice he doesn't recognize. He emerges from the bathroom he was inspecting. Caroline might notice that he's wearing a weird silver belt with a stylized red heart-shaped buckle, and that his body language is very wary.]

The place seems to be abandoned.

Ah, Rin! [Gakupo waves before going over to her.] You're here, too...

[She scoffs at the milk.]

Was that you who put crates of it out by the church?

[She'll leave the milk there, but make her way to the kitchen to see if there is a refrigerator full of the stuff.]

[She turns around.

She's middle aged, dirty blonde, wearing a pair of broken glasses. Her face is clearly that of a dead woman, pale (almost blue), wide eyed, and blank, with dried vomit running down her chin.]
