[Day two of whatever this place is dawns bright and cheerful. Not much seems to have changed; the carnival is still standing, the town still empty of drones, the sky still bright blue and --

...oh, it's gone now. Must have just been your imagination. Anyway, there's no time to waste staring aimlessly at the sky, not when there's more friends showing up! Lucky there's more than enough food to go around, eh?]

[Is this...what hunger felt like? True hunger? Kind of feels like not having enough power. And those food smells...they were intoxicating and alluring! He ate earlier, but it felt like it didn't do much...

I've been here for a day without food or water. This...town...something's wrong...

I-I-I don't wanna die here! And I don't want Aniki to die either!!

I know...I'd like for us both to not die, either. [He didn't know what to do.] We should hope we get out soon, or we'll starve to death.

[roadrolling]

[He turns warily at the voice. Is he hallucinating, now? What Gakupo wouldn't do for a brush.]

[guess who doesn't look winded at all after running straight to you? ROBOT BODY IS THE BEST]

♪ Gakupo, have you seen Rin?

[Not even paying attention to that. Too damn hungry and weak.

Gakupo shakes his head.] I haven't seen anyone since yesterday.

[roadrolling]

♪ Agh... Miku and I both came through, did she get left behind?!

♪ Uh. You don't look so good.

Yes. Not eating or drinking for a day does that to a body, it seems. [Sighs softly] No, I haven't seen anyone yet.

[roadrolling]

♪ Hold on, I looked this up... um... I think you can go a few weeks without eating, but only a few days without drinking, right?

Why would I know?! Such things didn't matter a few months ago!

Word of mouth is slow and ineffective, especially if you throw idiots who disregard warnings into the mix. You should be grateful I've gone out of my way to rectify that problem. [except he didn't really tip it over out of concern for the general populace but details]
