[Those who wake up in the town on the third day will soon notice that something's definitely off. The cracks in the sky are appearing more frequently and lasting for minutes at a time, and there's a strange white fog drifting over the clouds.

For those who've just arrived, welcome to our new little town! We're sure you're glad to see your missing friends again; nothing to worry about here, they've just been too busy enjoying the upgraded carnival to go back home. Any bleeding limbs or serious wounds you may spot are obviously just a sign of how much fun they've been having.]

OOC: If your character damages or affects the carnival or town in a noticeable and normally permanent way, please comment here.

Like you're not alone...?

[ That makes Satou even more uncomfortable. Someone creepy and dangerous could be in that house with Nitori and there's a broken window that keeps Satou from immediately breaking their fingers!

She puts her own hands on the window sill and pulls herself inside, trying to brush off that she too is now feeling a bit dizzy and instead going to scoop Nitori up into her arms. ]

Here we go. I'll get you out, kay? Be careful when I set you down.

[cucumbers]

[ Nitori pouts. ] I-I wouldn't worry! It's like I said, it could be someone stealing things.

[ The little Kappa smiles as Satou enters, staggering back as the human takes hold of her. She turns to look back into the house briefly. She was glad that Satou came, but she was just anxious to get out. ]

Okay, I'm ready. I-I'm ready Satou.

[ She reaches her hand out to brace the window. ]

Stealing things, huh? [ That sounds like an excellent idea--- a morality check prevents Satou from suggesting that they go loot the place too.

Instead, she looks at the window again. No longer confident that she can safely get Nitori out it and plagued with curiosity. ]

You're trying the window. So the door is super locked? [ She looks back into the house. ] Maybe I can unlock it. Then it'll be easier to come back later. Doors normally unlock from the inside, right?

[cucumbers]

... Huh? [ Nitori stares at Satou. Humans are odd, but they are pretty fearless as well. She gulps. ] I-I suppose that's how most door locks work. Are you sure though? I-I mean the window is a good enough entrance...

... Though the door would be much safer.

[ She sighs softly. It's a smart idea, though Nitori can't help thinking that they shouldn't be doing this. ]

... Alright Satou. I'm sure the front door isn't too far away. But if we can't unlock it, then we head straight back here! Okay?

Mm, of course!

[ Satou carefully makes sure that Nitori is still on her feet before moving away from the window, just a bit. She stares into the darkness, wondering if the person she believes to be there will be startled when they enter. ]

Excuse me! If someone's in here, we're coming in too! We mean you no harm, okay? [ She summons an orb of pink magic and tosses it into the room like a basketball, intending to only do minor damage if anything in its way. Mean you no harm is apparently a white lie. ]

[cucumbers]

[ Nitori has a very bad feeling about this.

Nitori shuffles to her feet, standing right behind Satou. She stares back into the darkness, keeping Satou in the corner of her eye. Did she realy have to talk so loudly? ]

Oh! What are you - [ She hops back, shoulders hunching up because she didn't know Satou could do that? ] Satou, be careful! What if they're really dangerous? [ At least the ball of pink magic is enough to maybe light up the room. ]
