welcome to mayfield: day 3



[Those who wake up in the town on the third day will soon notice that something's definitely off. The cracks in the sky are appearing more frequently and lasting for minutes at a time, and there's a strange white fog drifting over the clouds.

For those who've just arrived, welcome to our new little town! We're sure you're glad to see your missing friends again; nothing to worry about here, they've just been too busy enjoying the upgraded carnival to go back home. Any bleeding limbs or serious wounds you may spot are obviously just a sign of how much fun they've been having.]

Isla could. Sometimes. When she was getting her powers back.

[Hol's eyes were both struck with that of blades entering them. One was partiality healed... but not very well ...]

[Tarvek clucks, and produces a small bottle of sterile antiseptic fluid with a squirt top. He spritzes Hol's eyes, and clucks more.]

Can you see out of either eye?

[He'll take care of Hol if he's blind. He may take care of Hol if he's not...]

[Very still, shaky voice...]

I can't feel Ilsa. I should. She...she had this bond. She...I...

We could sense each other. I can't feel her.

Ok. I'm going to clean out both, but I'm only going to bandage the one that's blind. You need to see. Can you get to the church without me?
