[Those who wake up in the town on the third day will soon notice that something's definitely off. The cracks in the sky are appearing more frequently and lasting for minutes at a time, and there's a strange white fog drifting over the clouds.

For those who've just arrived, welcome to our new little town! We're sure you're glad to see your missing friends again; nothing to worry about here, they've just been too busy enjoying the upgraded carnival to go back home. Any bleeding limbs or serious wounds you may spot are obviously just a sign of how much fun they've been having.]

OOC: If your character damages or affects the carnival or town in a noticeable and normally permanent way, please comment here.

Scarab Undead could stop time momentarily...he was a bit of a problem until he was resealed.

[He glances out the window like he's giving the place another look. The word "survived" seems to have struck some sort of chord, particularly after reminiscing about an old fight.]

There should be a way. Surviving is...something I'm good at.

[He steps closer, behind Jenny, towards the sound, listening extremely hard as to what the voices are saying.]

But unfortunately for you, I'm no healer, and I doubt I'll be able to find one in time before you bleed out. If you have any last requests though before the town hopefully resurrects you later, now would be the time to say them.

[He used so few words. It was as though he was afraid of running out of them. She turns herself, putting more of her attention right on Hol as she sat and willed her arm to mend.]

[Oh, such a production he's making of it... she lazily prods at him with her plank, possibly giving him further encouragement to scoot up the steps.]

[It is right then that she really regrets not having her flight back. Oh, well. She'll just have to start working on channeling that energy back into her feet, if this thing wants to play on the ground. For the moment, though, she settles for flinging shots of ice at the ground, hoping to at least slow it down.]

[You know, eating funnel cake and then feeling an empty sensation after excruciating pain doesn't make him want to take the water that was once a rock. So he'll be waving it off.]

They never do. It was the same with Westport, over two years ago. I wasn't in Mayfield back then, but I can say with experience that with time, all this will definitely subside. Everyone here is in this together too, so stay strong.

That's good to hear. If you plan to head out in the morning, please stay together with them at least and don't end up on your own. A lot of friends and good acquaintances of mine ended up here too, hence I'll be trying to keep an eye out for them. This place hasn't sealed our abilities, so what little I can do may be of help later.

She hands the note back, her demeanor gentle but still steady and confident. Does she really know if things will end up okay? ...There are never any absolutes. But can she try keeping up morale even at the cost of a possible lie? She'd sure go for it, no questions asked.]

(Kreutzer had normally been going through the tunnel of love, but as she approached the inky black abyss that was simply the end of it, she hesitated. Even with one of her dolls illuminating the immediate area with flaming swords, she could see nothing through it.)

This must be the limit of the tunnel...I-I shouldn't be here...

[Rrgh, great. Just the man he didn't want to see. It hurt his pride as a Magus to be seen in such a state, and weakened, he wouldn't be able to properly defend himself if Kariya wished to settle their business. He still forces himself up to a full stand, but it's obvious he's shaky.]

[This puts Tokiomi a bit off, considering that Bazett has already been confirmed by him to be a Magus. Shouldn't that mean she understands how Magi families work? The reaching for was only narrowly avoided by a single step backward.]

My daughters are capable of handling themselves. Unless you are implying that the Tohsaka bloodline is weak?

(Wherever she went, it seemed like Kreutzer kept finding herself in darkness. Damn this carnival, damn it all! She was already pretty weak, refusing to eat the food offered here. Water was a rarity, but at least she managed enough to last this long. She doesn't intend on brooding, but with the setting so appropriate...well, she just might be hugging one or two of her magical dolls.)

[For the first time in a long while, Ciel feels her own patience thinning. She could certainly write out an explanation, but that takes time, plus she has to get close and somehow make the blonde woman READ her note. And with Panty's replies and attitude so far?

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Showing to someone else just exactly why she can't speak isn't something she's done yet, but short of bearing direct witness, a person like Panty may just not get the message.

So opting for the short and direct explanation, Ciel keeps her deadpan look and opens her mouth. Wide enough for Panty to clearly see, even at a distance of one or several dozen feet:

Her tongue is missing. The wound is no longer fresh and raw from yesterday, but it being just... not there, that should at least concisely clarify on just why she hasn't said a single word yet. Won't be doing any talking anytime soon either, not with that sort of injury.]

[Hajime's in significantly better shape than she is, seeing as how he's only just arrived that day. He's a bit unnerved by the fact that he thinks so little time has passed for him when it's in reality been three days, and so he has gone back to investigate the funhouse further.

He rounds a corner and seems surprised to see her there...hugging her dolls. He's not saying anything, just has to process that odd behavior...]

[Abel has been watching the look of a troubled soul settling with more hold over Esther for a while, now... and while things are quiet, maybe -- there's something he can do.

so, he strays from his position watchdogging the door for now, and eases to sit beside her with a small little smile, tilting his head a bit to draw her gaze.]
