[Day two of whatever this place is dawns bright and cheerful. Not much seems to have changed; the carnival is still standing, the town still empty of drones, the sky still bright blue and --

...oh, it's gone now. Must have just been your imagination. Anyway, there's no time to waste staring aimlessly at the sky, not when there's more friends showing up! Lucky there's more than enough food to go around, eh?]

[She shakes her head and reaches over to touch his shoulder, squeezing reassuringly] They won't let you, you know. Between me and Poland we should have enough food for a few days at least.

But what about after that?

Don't worry. Here--[She pulls out a riceball and presses it into his hand] Keep that in case I'm not nearby--or eat it now if you really need to okay?

[Without thinking he bites down into it, savoring the taste. She has a point though, if food is scarce he should save a little at least. The rest he'll save for later]

Really--really there's no need to thank me. Food is meant to be shared and we must share as much as we can in bad situations.
