[Day two of whatever this place is dawns bright and cheerful. Not much seems to have changed; the carnival is still standing, the town still empty of drones, the sky still bright blue and --

...oh, it's gone now. Must have just been your imagination. Anyway, there's no time to waste staring aimlessly at the sky, not when there's more friends showing up! Lucky there's more than enough food to go around, eh?]

I think there's a lot of us here, nearly all the town.

Not even close to that many. There are more in Mayfield then you'd think...

[It'd be more crowded if it nearly were that many!]

I don't know what to make of this carnival. It's obviously not the same one we walked into before.

[It always surprises him, the sheer amount of people captive in Mayfield, when the town itself seems quite small.]

I don't think it bodes well, changes like this rarely do.

I think I'll keep doubting it. Someone with caution needs to balance out all the hopeful thinkers we have.
