[Those who wake up in the town on the third day will soon notice that something's definitely off. The cracks in the sky are appearing more frequently and lasting for minutes at a time, and there's a strange white fog drifting over the clouds.

For those who've just arrived, welcome to our new little town! We're sure you're glad to see your missing friends again; nothing to worry about here, they've just been too busy enjoying the upgraded carnival to go back home. Any bleeding limbs or serious wounds you may spot are obviously just a sign of how much fun they've been having.]

Aha, I'm fine. Really! [The girl tries to reassure him. It's not really a lie... the wound on her upper leg is tied up, half-healed with magic, so it's not a serious injury.] It just hurts a little when I walk, that's all.

Has curiosity brought you into this carnival as well?

[She really is fine, outside of the limp, so she doesn't really think much of him not offering help.]

Unfortunately, yes... I didn't hear of any bad things happening in the carnival the first few days it was around, so I decided to check it out... [She sighs.] And I've been stuck here for two days now.

...So it is safe to infer that we are trapped in this carnival for the time being. ...That is troublesome.

Yeah... Weird things have started happening too. But all of the powers we had at our disposal back in Mayfield are still intact, so I guess that's a blessing.

[Not that it does a damn thing in Hakuno's case, but it might put this guy at ease.]
