[Those who wake up in the town on the third day will soon notice that something's definitely off. The cracks in the sky are appearing more frequently and lasting for minutes at a time, and there's a strange white fog drifting over the clouds.

For those who've just arrived, welcome to our new little town! We're sure you're glad to see your missing friends again; nothing to worry about here, they've just been too busy enjoying the upgraded carnival to go back home. Any bleeding limbs or serious wounds you may spot are obviously just a sign of how much fun they've been having.]

[Too late, bro. Tokiomi's now on one knee, holding his stomach in an insane amount of pain.]

[Well, he isn't exactly expecting that reaction. He swoops over and kneels next to him.]

Hey, hey... Are you alright?

Perhaps the food was poisoned...

[Which would explain the pain and Tokiomi's feeling that he'll die soon. ...However, after a while, he feels empty. It wasn't the same sensation as being hungry... it was the feeling of a complete void.]

I wouldn't put it past this bloody town.

[He helps him up and over to a bench to sit down properly. He looks around and finds a rock.]

That should do.

[He picks it up and it shimmers, turning into a glass of water. He offers it to the guy.]

Drink this.

[You know, eating funnel cake and then feeling an empty sensation after excruciating pain doesn't make him want to take the water that was once a rock. So he'll be waving it off.]

I am not thirsty. You wouldn't be either if you went through such a thing.

[It's real water, perfectly clean and fresh. He'd have made it out of raw firmament, but he hasn't regained that ability yet, just to change one thing into another.]
