[Those who wake up in the town on the third day will soon notice that something's definitely off. The cracks in the sky are appearing more frequently and lasting for minutes at a time, and there's a strange white fog drifting over the clouds.

For those who've just arrived, welcome to our new little town! We're sure you're glad to see your missing friends again; nothing to worry about here, they've just been too busy enjoying the upgraded carnival to go back home. Any bleeding limbs or serious wounds you may spot are obviously just a sign of how much fun they've been having.]

OOC: If your character damages or affects the carnival or town in a noticeable and normally permanent way, please comment here.

[At this point, she rushes at him.]

WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?

[Her head starts hurting at the sound of her own screaming, but she is too angry to care.]

[When you have a daughter like Rin, you're inclined to be used to screaming. ...Same with the association with Kariya. So he keeps his composure, even if he is annoyed by it.]

I was intrigued by what this world's version of a carnival has to offer.

And you thought it was alright to leave your daughters in Mayfield by themselves? Do you realize how dangerous this place is? If we die here, we might not resurrect like we do back in Mayfield! Why did you come here!

[She reaches for him, intending on shaking some sense into the man.]

[This puts Tokiomi a bit off, considering that Bazett has already been confirmed by him to be a Magus. Shouldn't that mean she understands how Magi families work? The reaching for was only narrowly avoided by a single step backward.]

My daughters are capable of handling themselves. Unless you are implying that the Tohsaka bloodline is weak?

And how do you think your daughters would feel? This is not just a matter of bloodline, you dolt! Kariya is already here. Do you understand? It is not just Rin. Sakura has neither father nor legal guardian now!

[She gags loudly. When she speaks again, her voice is softer.]

As the ally of both of your daughters, I want to see toward their well-being, and not just physically. Rin especially...has suffered what even a magus should not suffer in Mayfield. I am your ally too, which means I would have failed both you and your daughters if you were hurt here...

[Her previous rage seems to have drained her of energy.]

If I had my full power, I could easily protect all of my allies here, but now...

[Remember that confident smirk that's always on Tokiomi's face? Now it's twisted into a grimace. Much more of an annoyed grimace, and the look in his eyes is reflecting his inner irritation.]

You hold a similarity with Kariya in that you believe you have any right to speak so freely of the Tohsaka family. Had you been born, raised and bred as a Tohsaka, perhaps you might understand just how our children are raised. Have you spoken to Rin or Sakura themselves? I am not saying my death will benefit them in any way, but if it is inevitable, Rin has adopted the helm of the Tohsaka family and will be able to take care of her sister accordingly. I have no intentions of being harmed or dying here, and you would do well to realize that the "burden" of protecting either myself or my daughters is not something you have any right in shouldering.

Is that your final answer, Tokiomi. Very well, I cannot argue with your assessment of your daughters. After all, I am not their parent or guardian. But I will still protect and provide for you best I can. I consider you my ally, and even if you still have your powers, you are probably unused to situations like these.
