[Those who wake up in the town on the third day will soon notice that something's definitely off. The cracks in the sky are appearing more frequently and lasting for minutes at a time, and there's a strange white fog drifting over the clouds.

For those who've just arrived, welcome to our new little town! We're sure you're glad to see your missing friends again; nothing to worry about here, they've just been too busy enjoying the upgraded carnival to go back home. Any bleeding limbs or serious wounds you may spot are obviously just a sign of how much fun they've been having.]

[Listening to a phone.]

....I think someone's screaming.

[hairflyingheartpounding]

[Rapunzel's been exploring the house, too, as it happens, and jumps a bit at Harley's voice before peering into the room, concerned.]

Do you think it's someone in one of the other houses? Are the phones working?

[crazyclownwoman]

No they're just ...static an'...really faint screaming.

[Holds the phone out to her.]

[hairflyingheartpounding]

[Rapunzel shakes her head.]

I'd rather not. In case it gets louder, I mean... I... Kind of went deaf yesterday.

You should be careful, too.

Huh? What happened?

[Puts the phone back on the hook.]

[hairflyingheartpounding]

I went into a room in one of the houses... [She suppresses a shudder and decides not to get into the blood on the wall. Not yet, at least.]

There was... A really loud scream. My ears were bleeding and then I couldn't hear.

Where was the scream from?

Are you alright now?

[hairflyingheartpounding]

I'm not sure... It was so loud, it felt like it came from everywhere. And yes... I'm fine.

That's weird.

I wonder if it's in all the houses....

...I really hope not. I didn't think of that. Maybe we should leave.

[crazyclownwoman]

....Yeah. I think that's a good idea.

[Glancing over to a room she'd left the prizes in, but figures she'll leave them. /They are gone anyway./]

[Walks over to the door.]

[hairflyingheartpounding]

[Carefully, eyes darting around, Rapunzel follows.]

Besides the screaming, did you find anything in there?

Nah, it looks like some people tore the place up though.

[Exit stage house. Walking out to the street.]

Have you found anything?

[And here's someone who just walked into the house to explore it some more and blinks over at Harley.]

... On the phone?

[Glances over.]

Yeah. It's faint but it's there.

[April frowns to herself.]

Is... it okay if I have a listen to it?

[Hands it over to her.]

Sure thing.

[She takes it and places it to her ear. Cue a vaguely uneasy look a moment later.]

Yep, I can hear the screaming. Last time I listened to this there was only static.

[She nods.]

Same here.

....er....is anyone missing from ...here?

[technologic]

I'm... not sure. [She slowly pulls the phone away from her ear.] ... Maybe it's this place just messing with us or something...

They do like to do that....

Is anything else different today?

[technologic]

... The sky. There are things like... cracks appearing in it every so often.

Like...it's breaking?

[Goes over to a window to look.]
