welcome to mayfield: day 2

[Day two of whatever this place is dawns bright and cheerful. Not much seems to have changed; the carnival is still standing, the town still empty of drones, the sky still bright blue and --

-- hang on, what was that? Did some sort of crack just appear in that patch of sky?

...oh, it's gone now. Must have just been your imagination. Anyway, there's no time to waste staring aimlessly at the sky, not when there's more friends showing up! Lucky there's more than enough food to go around, eh?]

OOC: If your character damages or affects the carnival or town in a noticeable and normally permanent way, please comment here.

OPEN! If your character was on the list of characters arriving on Day 1 or Day 2, they may comment here. All questions belong here.

House #3

[There must be something more here. After the time he's already spent in this glitched Mayfield, Estonia is getting sick of not having answers. And this is where the pamphlet was. Maybe there's more. It's the only lead he has.

He starts with the stove, pulling it out, away from he wall, and then giving a shove to flip it over, to see if there's anything to be found underneath it. From there, he's either going for pulling up sketchy floorboards or trying to take down the kitchen sink. Help will definitely not be unwanted.]

[Lithuania isn't exactly going to stop Estonia from tearing up one of the houses. Lithuania's been itching to do something, anything useful since they arrived. He'll help Estonia out with those floorboards. It seems like someone already pulled a few out, so at least there's somewhere to start.]

Think we'll actually find anything this way?

[Either way it's kind of cathartic.]

[Estonia shrugs, letting out a sound somewhere between a huff of exertion and a laugh.]

It ought to make us feel productive, if nothing else.
vytis: (but you won't fool the children)

[Lithuania rips a few floorboards out, not sure if he should feel guilty about being so pleased with the sound it makes.]

Even if we don't find anything, I always kind of hated Mayfield's style. Everything looks the same.

[It reminds him a little of the grey sameness of Soviet-era housing.]

That's the spirit, Leedu.

[He shifts to pull at a particularly stubborn piece, weighing it in his hands once it's up, only to take a few paces across the room and take a swing at the wall with it. Nope, this definitely should not be as cathartic as it is.]

Maybe you should save that piece in case you need to take a swing at any of those rats.

[Lithuania is going about floor destruction in a very Lithuania-ish methodical way. It's about as neat and orderly as this sort of chaos can be.]
technophiling: (sunflowers are okay I guess)

Ah, I'm sure I can find others.

[For the moment, he's just rather intent on this wall. It's satisfying, if messy.]
